Thanks for your question. High definition liposuction refines the body achieving a more pronounced and dramatic outcome. With this procedure, I can etch or sculpt the body, defining anatomical structures. Hope this helps. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Dr. Moises Salama, board certified plastic surgeon.
Hello @Meshreyes, thank you for your question. Liposculpture skillfully uses liposuction to extract fat from specific areas and inject it into the desired regions, such as the buttocks, offering both men and women a viable option despite initial skepticism. It is mostly done with high-tech Vaser laser technology. It is an advanced procedure that uses gentle ultrasonic energy to selectively break up some of the unwanted fat while preserving other important tissues. VASER technology allows for a wide range of body contouring applications, from treating small problem areas to major transformations in various problem areas. It is important to point out that liposculpture is not a slimming method per se, but a technique to refine body contours and improve aesthetic proportions. Although it naturally leads to a reduction of the total weight by eliminating fat, the main objective is to sculpt the body in more harmonious proportions. . The best course of action is to consult one or several board certified plastic surgeon for more information and options tailored specifically to your needs. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Liposculpture is the most common requested cosmetic procedure in the whole world? Before signing up for this, it is vital to understand that liposculpturing is not to be treated as an easy means to achieve weight loss or to combat obesity. Liposculpture is a procedure that allows you to reshape the contours of your body and accentuate your present silhouette, resulting in smoother contours and a toned figure. As long as patients understand this, in my experience there is a very, very high level of satisfaction with the results of this procedure. Liposculpture is best and most safely performed as an awake procedure under local (tumescent) anesthesia in doctor’s offices. I hope that this helps!
Thank you for your question. I suggest that you consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to learn more about your desired outcome and the recommended treatments available to you.Best wishes,
hello meshreyes I have researched and used most laser and body contouring devices and have chosen to use Vaser to provide my patients with the safest treatment and most consistent excellent result. #options #liposculture
Liposculpture is a type of liposuction that goes a step farther. Instead of only removing excess fatty bulges, it uses very small cannulas to remove small amounts of fat from around and on the muscles, too, which defines them. The results can be amazing and make you look quite athletic. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist can determine whether you are a good candidate for liposculpture.
Liposuction and liposculpture represent the same thing with the latter being more of a marketing term. Liposculpture/liposuction has the potential to reshape the body in a way that diet and exercise cannot.Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials (certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, education, experience, training) who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries and read the patient reviews.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Hello CT! Liposculpture is a fancier term for liposuction. There isn't a lot of difference but we use this term because it sounds more artistic: 'sculpting' sounds better than 'taking out excess fat'. Sometimes we talk about adding fat in other areas and that is even more like 'sculpting'. When I perform liposuction and fat transfer, or do liposuction with a tummy tuck or other procedure I think of it as 'liposculpture'.
Hello dear!! Thank you for the question and provided information as well. The healing process could be from 4-6 months, depending on the patient. At the stage tou are in, inflammation is still normal. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)
