Liposuction comes with lots of scar tissue, this will slowly soften and the swelling will diminish with no time. Your results look great, I see no problems physically with your lipo. Best of Luck!

hello ruby20  Liposuction patients can see results of their procedures as early as 10-14days after the procedure, but improvements continue 4-6 months afterwards as swellings and irregularities resolve. #swollen #post-op.

Thanks for the question, you have such a nice change. I hope you are feeling the benefits of making a positive change can bring. It seems as though you may have some persistent swelling which has become some scar tissue, this is normal and settles with time. Best to ask your personal surgeon but I always let my patients get back to exercise at 2 weeks because I personally feel exercise is always a good idea

I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol regarding ab work/exercise after liposuction. After hi definition liposuction, I recommend waiting 3-4 weeks before beginning to exercise and to stop if there is any discomfort. You may still have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to 6 months to see your final results. At the stage you are in, swelling is normal, so i recommend to be patient. If you have any concerns, i suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

The inflammation process can last from 6 months to 1 year, each patient has an individual recovery process. I recommend to be patient, keep wearing your compression garment and follow all other instructions given by your surgeon. Thank you for your question. As healing takes place, the skin and surrounding area will remodel and adjust to your new body contour over the next few months. Since remodeling is a gradual process, it can sometimes take up to 6 months for full improvement. I would consult with your doctor for specific aftercare instructions and concerns.

However, fluctuating level of swelling can happened for few months following the surgery. You doing the right thing having lymphatic drainage massage and wearing compression after each session. Stretching exercises and swimming is very useful from week 3. By week 4 you should start you abs exercises. It might actually aid your recovery.Consult you surgeon if you are concerned by ongoing swelling.

When liposculpture is performed using Vaser technology, the highest definition is observed; a single radiofrequency message session is offered at 5 weeks. Otherwise compression garments should suffice and are worn for 4 weeks.
