Hi, I did liposculpture 2 weeks ago and most of the brusing and swelling has started to vanish. Then i see this pouch on both sides of my stomach, and When i touch it its like a waterbed. I think its a seroma. Will this go away on its own or do I need to do something? I did the surgery in Paris, and i live in Norway.

Answer: Will a Seroma Disappear on its own? Depending on the gravity of the seroma, it isbest that you are evaluated by a professional. Seromas from Lipo sculpturesdoes not produce the same amount of fluids as a Tummy tuck patient, usually the amount of fluids produced after a Lipo sculpture the body is ableto absorb on its own if given the proper compression , there can beexceptions and in those cases, it is best to consult with your surgeon or anyother Plastic surgeon that can provided a physical evaluation. Best Wishes on your recovery!

Answer: It is best to get it aspirated Seromas heal much faster when aspirated. also, some seromas become "chronic", so it is best to seek a local sugeon that can help you drain it once or twice so that doesn't happen.
