Hi, I did liposculpture 2 weeks ago and most of the brusing and swelling has started to vanish. Then i see this pouch on both sides of my stomach, and When i touch it its like a waterbed. I think its a seroma. Will this go away on its own or do I need to do something? I did the surgery in Paris, and i live in Norway.

Answer: Recommendations Hello: thank you for your pictures and questions. Is hard to tell with one picture, but if you feel irregularities in this area would be recommended to check with your surgeon and primary care phisician. Perform an abdominal wall sonogram to report the area. In case it is positive for seroma the best solution is drain it. First check with your doctor, a phisical evaluation is a must before making a final decision

Answer: Liposuction/ Liposculpture/ Fat Transfer/ Vaser/ Hi Definition Procedures/Liposuction Revision/Tummy Tuck/Body Contouring I appreciate your question. I would recommend that you discuss this question with your surgeon as every surgeon has their own respective post op protocol for his/her patients. Your surgeon is your best resource as he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you are healing at this time. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Answer: It is best to get it aspirated Seromas heal much faster when aspirated. also, some seromas become "chronic", so it is best to seek a local sugeon that can help you drain it once or twice so that doesn't happen.
