My nose is on the long side and his a droopy tip. I feel like Squidward. What can be done to fix it? (photos)

I would like to know what can be done to fix it? Can it be made shorter and the tip not droopy. I am very insecure about and hate how it t looks. I want to feel better and not scared to smile. I have even been picked on because of it, gets me down. But I would be doing it for myself, not them. Screw them. Also, can you please tell me how much a procedure would cost me? From your photos, you appear to be a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Your nose needs to be made a bit smaller and the tip more defined and projected. That will make it look shorter and nicely feminine. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

An in-person evaluation of the nose’s structure would be ideal, so a full assessment of the anatomy can be made, both from a functional and an aesthetic standpoint. However, based on the images you’ve provided, a rhinoplasty procedure would be necessary to address your concerns. This procedure is generally performed in our office surgical suite and is an outpatient procedure with a straight forward recovery. In addition  to shortening the nose, I recommend lowering the bridge and refining the tip. A conservative rhinoplasty would make a nice difference.

Based on limited photos- it appears that you would benefit from a Cosmetic Rhinoplasty -preferably performed through a closed technique. In the right hands you can expect a more feminine, more elegant nose. It is one of the most challenging procedures that we perform, therefore I highly recommend seeking an experienced Board Certified PS with extensive Rhinoplasty experience. It is not cheap, but in the right hands really worth it. Prices will vary from Region to Region, experience of a Surgeon and other factors

A  closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish shaving down the dorsal hump, lifting the tip, and refining your nose with all the incisions placed on the inside of it.  It is important to release the depressor septi ligament which pulls the tip down dynamically when smiling.

The nasal areas that you described and would like improved can be addressed with an artistically performed nasal surgery (rhinoplasty) through either a closed or open approach..

Keep in mind that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do and technically how to do it based on  limited photos without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.
