Is it possible for me to get an upturned nose? (photos)

Sometimes the nose tip may look like it is tilted down because the cartilages within the column between the nostrils  (columella) are separated, retracted and are too week and the muscles pull the tip down while smiling. Just brining those cartilages together will create an optical illusion that the tip is tilted up and will support the tip better along with other techniques. You are a good candidate for this procedure as well as narrowing the tip with suture techniques and perhaps slightly tilting the tip up with a cartilage graft that is called a columella strut and by removing a small amount of septum cartilage with proportional amount of lining. Your adjusted and improved nose has to match your face. Often, the nose that looks pretty on one person's face may not necessarily look pretty on another person's face. 

 A rhinoplasty can refine your tip and make it less bulbous while removing the nasal hump, etc. Your goals can be  achieved with a more attractive feminine nose. See a very experienced surgeon who does natural looking noses that you like.

your tip is probably not as down-turned as you think; you just have a little excess volume in the supra-tip region above it and this makes the tip look to long. reducing the tip volume and re-supporting the tip itself will correct the problem and also make the nose look slimmer from the front. 3D analysis is a very useful way of giving you a clear idea of how this works. beware of asking for your tip to be turned up- you may get more than you bargained for! good luck

Those type of rhinoplasty changes can be done and would offer improvements in the direction of your goals. But your nose is not going to end up looking like Emma Watson's. You can only make your nose better shaped but it will not look like someone else's.

 The photographs demonstrate a wide bulbous tip  and a  dorsal hump. The naso-labial angle is acceptable and should not be turned up any higher.  To narrow a bulbous tip requires a combination of suture techniques and conservative cartilage removal applied to the lower lateral cartilages of the nasal tip. An upturned nose can be part of the planning for rhinoplasty, and looking at your photos it might wrok out well. Computer simulations will help you see and try out changes to see if what you describe wil fit your features.

It is certainly possible to refine and reposition your nose tip with rhinoplasty. Rather then concentrate on a celebrity nose go for a consultation with computer imaging and see how different changes in width and position look on your face. Then you and your surgeon can plan on getting you the best result possible that you'll feel happy with every time you look in the mirror.

It is possible to alter the shape of your nasal tip with a rhinoplasty.  When you go for a consultation you can explain what parts of your nose you would like to change.  Your plastic surgeon can explain what is possible to alter and give you a reasonable expectation of what you would look like.  It is not possible to guarantee an exact nose (such as Emma Watson's) but certainly the shape can be altered. Reducing your hump and lifting your columella will give you a shorter nose. Narrowing your entire nose and refining the tip will give you the desired definition. Be careful, over the past 35 years I've seen people lie you who had their noses over rotated crewing an unnatural appearance.
