Do most doctors have payment plans or creditors they recommend?

There are many financing options available for patients who cannot pay in full prior to rhinoplasty. CareCredit is the best known but also has the highest standards in terms or credit score requirements. For patients who do not qualify for CareCredit due to inadequate credit history there are several secondary programs that we recommend for patients. In most cases, we can find reasonable financing for patients looking to schedule rhinoplasty. We vet these creditors extensively to ensure that they are honest and offer realistic financing options to our patients. I hope this information is helpful for you.

Thank you for the question.
In our practice, we use Care Credit as well as other companies; they have been used by our patients with no problems. They do have different rates so please make sure you get all of the information you need prior to signing up with any financing company.
Generally speaking, it is always in patients' best interests to achieve a certain degree of financial stability prior to undergoing elective surgery of any type. Patients should also keep in mind that additional surgery may be necessary in the short or long term, following the primary procedure that is being performed; this additional surgery may be associated out-of-pocket expenses. Again, best to achieve a physical, emotional, psychosocial, and financial “stable state” prior to considering elective plastic surgery. Best wishes.

Most offices offer financing through credit companies. Most surgeons offices do require payment up front  or within 10 days of surgery. Every office is different you maybe want to speak to the doctors office before booking anything

There are several ways to pay for cosmetic surgery. Although some surgeons require full payment up front, some are willing to do a payment plan. There are financing programs such as Care Credit that will finance your surgery in full if you qualify. Check with your rhinoplasty surgeon to see what options they are willing to provide. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Cosmetic surgery is not covered by health insurance.  The vast majority of surgeons require the fees prior to surgery, unless other arrangements are made.  Check with the surgeons in your area, but many take care credit, and major credit cards.  Best wishes!
