Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you have a little hump on the bridge and droopy tip. For gain more curved and upward nose I suggest you rhinoplasty surgery. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the front of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation.
Hi @Straightforward4433. Thank you for sending your photos--it appears that you have a dorsal hump and slightly bulbous nasal tip. I recommend seeing an expert rhinoplasty specialist for in person examination. There are several options for you that can be determined after examination. A rhinoplasty in my opinion is one of the most difficult procedures to perform. I utilize piezosurgery in my practice. Piezosurgery is a more gentle technique that allows for greater precision. Less bruising and swelling is common with Piezosurgery. In a typical rhinoplasty, a hammer and chisel technique is performed leading to more inadvertent fractures. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Thank you for your question and for providing photos. You may benefit from rhinoplasty to reshape the nose and create an appearance that is more balanced with the other facial features. This may include smoothing the dorsal hump and defining the tip for a natural-looking result. When considering rhinoplasty, it’s important to remember that it is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to discuss your concern and aesthetic goals with you and help you decide on the best course of action.
I would say a Reduction Rhinoplasty would help you achieve a smaller nose. This is an operation that allows us to reduce the nasal support – mainly the bone and the cartilage – in order to reduce length and width.
Thank you for your pictures. You are a great candidate for rhinoplasty surgery. An experienced surgeon can give you a smaller and thinner nose, with a nice, natural slope, remove the hump, remove some cartilage from the tip, make the wings of your nose smaller, and give your nose more definition while keeping it natural and give it a more feminine look. Best of luck to you.
Hello,Surgical rhinoplasty can help you in improving the shape of your nose, and make it look smaller. It is better to consult with a facial plastic surgeon and go over how your nose might look like after surgery.
Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty. I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. The incision in open rhinoplasty heals almost always invisibly. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.
What procedure makes a nose smaller? from the pictures you present, it appears that you have a dorsal hump and slightly bulbous nasal tip. The procedure to correct this and make the nose smaller and perhaps more attractive to you, is called a Rhinoplasty. The issues which your nose presents are very standard, and are routinely addressed with a rhinoplasty.
Thank you so much for your question! Based on your pictures it seems that you are a perfect candidate for Rhinoplasty surgery. Rhinoplasty surgery changes the shape and size of the nose. Rhinoplasty can reduce your nose and reshape the tip, bridge, and nostrils. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Please send us more pictures of the nose with your full face for a better evaluation. Hope it helps!
After having performed several thousand successful rhinoplasties, mostly closed, I would tell you, the nasal areas that you described and would like improved can be addressed with an artistically performed natural appearing nasal surgery (rhinoplasty) through either a closed or open surgical approach.Keep in mind that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you what to do based on limited two dimensional photos without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or facial plastic surgeon that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.Robert Singer, MD FACSLa Jolla, California
Good Afternoon! Since it's been that long, it may be worthwhile revisiting with your surgeon to see what may be going on. Rarely, subclinical infections exist and can present with pain. A steroid injection may help if there's persistent swelling. There are some patients who experience pain...

Hello,Thank you for the question… As a surgeon, my number one priority is the safety and comfort of my patients when it comes to their procedures. With that being said there is no correct order for the procedures you would like. There is no harm in getting both rhinoplasty and chin...
