No change it weight. Should I see a change? Just curious. Liposuction on upper thighs, muffin top, and bra line 17 days ago. I don't feel swollen, but I am still numb and tender. I know I'm still healing, but can swelling be gone? I don't know how many pounds were taken, but weight has not changed. Will/should I see a weight loss? I can definitely see results already, just wondering if I'm seeing 90% or 10%. Thank you.
Answer: Is it possible swelling is gone at 17 days post lipo? Liposuction is NOT a weight loss operation, and not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle. It takes months months for a complete healing to occur. It's always best arriving at the ideal weight first prior to undergoing body contouring procedures

Answer: Is swelling gone? Thank you for your question. You will likely notice SOME improvement after 1-2 weeks, but your full result after liposuction will not be evident for 3-6 months as swelling resolves. In terms of weight loss, you will not see much if any after liposuction. Liposuction is a shape change operation, not a weight change operation. When fat cells are removed from one part of the body with liposuction, the body still needs to store that fat somewhere, so it is redistributed round the rest of your body. This is usually a very even process so the fear of suddenly having disproportionate weight gain in a different part of the body is not something to really worry about. I've actually never had a patient experience this phenomenon.

Answer: Swelling at 17 days post lipo You look very good for being only 17 days out from surgery. Everyone is different, and you are certainly seem to be doing well and will have a good result. Your are definitely still swollen though, so you should see gradual improvement over the next few months. If you are good about your diet, you should weight will reflect the fat removed when the swelling is gone.

Answer: Post Lipo - Lymphatic Massage, Hyperbaric Oxygen, RF (Venus Legacy, Exilis, Vanquish, InMode Forma), Cellutone/Z Wave/Evive you look like you really needed significant weight loss before liposuction which is more of a contouring procedure than fat reduction procecure. if this was done to "debulk" and lower the size its going to be minmal and the swelling will be for 3-6 months. If you are unhappy with your results please speak to your physician and ensure he was a full body VASER HD liposuction physciain wtih expensive experience in body shaping and not just traditional fat reduction. At this point you should be using compression, RF treatments like venus legacy / exilis ultra / inmode forma or contoura and lymphatic massage to get you through healing. We always add shock wave therapy such as cellutone, z wave, and eclipse evive to help prvent scar tissue formation and ensure an even and smooth result. It will take 6-12 months to see the final outcome. If you are unhappy you can get a revision procedure by an expert in VASER HD lipo. Best, Dr. Emer.
