What kind of surgery can I get to slim down my legs? (photos)

Question

I have super thick/bulky thighs and calves and I am super self conscious about them. I used to be a gymnast, but my legs never slimmed down after I quit gymnastics and switched to running three years ago. My legs are muscular with some fat, but not a lot. I think my overall body fat percentage is about 13-14%. I’ll attach a few pictures of my legs then a picture of what I want my legs to look like. Are there any procedures that will slim my legs down to that shape/size?

A relationship between your bones, muscles and fat tissue on top defines the shape and size of your legs and thighs. If you do not have much of the fat than there is little to be contoured (possibly around the knees, inner thighs)? In person evaluation is necessary for more accurate assessment. Good luck.

Great question. Thank you for the post.  Non-invasive technology could be used to slim the thighs, calves and ankles.  Laser assisted lipolysis (Sculpsure) or cryolipolysis (Coolsculpt) can be used.  Alternatively, magnetic resonance technology can be used and this will also built muscle (Emsculpt).  The most dramatic results will be obtained with tumescent liposuction performed in a 360 degree fashion. Liposuction would be worth doing to slim the thighs, knees, calves and ankles but be sure to get it done under tum. local with the micro canulas and enjoy the new you. You can be turned in all positions and even stand up during the procedure to fine tune the results for best results.

Reyna.   Your case poses a most intriguing dilemma. Your legs are muscular and fit (in a good way), and have little extraneous fat.  Yet they lack the definition and shapeliness that you desire. Micro Liposuction is by far the best option for you. However it must be performed in the most conservative and creative fashion possible because your legs don’t necessarily need fat reduction, but sculpting and shaping. Skillful Micro liposuction, especially around your knees and calves, should provide similar results to those that you desire. The fact that you do not have a lot of fat in your legs means that aggressive liposuction must be avoided at all costs  because contour irregularities and dimpling may result.
