I searched for the best treatment for banana rolls. I spent 5k on cool sculpting and it did nothing. I lost weight and they just got worse. I went to get lipo with a reputable and confident surgeon who swore he could fix it and had the pictures to back it up. Almost 100k later I still have banana rolls. What now? Imonly 22, no kids, and I only lost 10lbs. the lipo slightly improved it but it's not much of a difference, certainly not a 60k difference.

Answer: DrDerby Thank you for your question and the photos. I think it is best to see a plastic surgeon in person and think about a thigh lift with the scarring nicely in the line below the buttocks ... invisibly to the eye. I think that might give you the best results.Best of luck

Answer: Banana rolls Banana rolls can be difficult to remove with just liposuction again. Smaller banana rolls can be treated with conservative liposuction. If the liposuction is too aggressive, it can make the roll larger or increase the number of folds. If you have excess skin which is contributing to the persistent roll, you may need an excisional technique which cuts out the banana roll and hides the scar under your natural buttock crease. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon IG: @drjohnsonlee
