I'm almost 7 months post op lipo and fat transfer do you think its still nessassry to still wear a faja or compression garment??
Answer: Compression garment Thank you for your question! No, it is not necessary to wear your compression garment at 7 months post op. For my patients, I recommend they wear their compression garments for the first 3 weeks, 24/7, then an additional 3 weeks at night only. I also recommend discussing specific post op instructions with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!

Answer: Should I still be wearing my fajas and compression garments 7 months post-op? In my experience, I ask my patients to wear the compression garment that I provide for 4 to 6 weeks, but you should ask your PS. His/her protocol may be different.

Answer: Should I still be wearing my fajas and compression garments 7 months post-op? Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. I suggest my patients to use a full body compression garment, 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to get the best results. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: Compression garments 7 months post-op Dear SayThat34, Many thanks for your question. Whilst I cannot comment on things specific to you as I have not met and examined you, I think it is fair to say that there is little if any benefit from wearing compression garments or such-like 7 months post liposuction and fat transfer. I would have expected any swelling you experienced to have long since settled. Take advice from the Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that performed your surgery. Best wishes, Marcus
