Thank you for your question! No, it is not necessary to wear your compression garment at 7 months post op. For my patients, I recommend they wear their compression garments for the first 3 weeks, 24/7, then an additional 3 weeks at night only. I also recommend discussing specific post op instructions with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
In my experience, I ask my patients to wear the compression garment that I provide for 4 to 6 weeks, but you should ask your PS. His/her protocol may be different.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. I suggest my patients to use a full body compression garment, 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to get the best results. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Good luck :)
Dear SayThat34,Many thanks for your question. Whilst I cannot comment on things specific to you as I have not met and examined you, I think it is fair to say that there is little if any benefit from wearing compression garments or such-like 7 months post liposuction and fat transfer. I would have expected any swelling you experienced to have long since settled.Take advice from the Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that performed your surgery.Best wishes,Marcus

Swelling can persist for 6 months and sometimes up to 1 year following liposuction. Follow up with the PS who performed your liposuction if you continue to be concerned.
An exam would determine what could be done for your physique. The banana roll is vastly different in different people. To give the absolute best contour, you would need a tiny amount of liposuction performed very carefully to avoid skin laxity below the area of the banana roll to blend the ar...
Hello and thank you for your question and photos. After reviewing your photo, I would recommend a full tummy tuck combined with liposuction. A full tummy tuck corrects the aftermath of pregnancy: 1. The separation of the abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) is repaired to reduce the bulge 2. ...
It would be helpful to know what your BMI was pre-operatively and to see some photos to see what realistic expectations are for you. You should not expect a lot of "retraction" or skin tightening from liposuction, but if skin elasticity is good, you should do well. ...
Thank you for your question. Looking at your picture you do look to be a great candidate for liposuction. I typically use a laser assisted liposuction such as Smart Lipo or JPlasma Lipo which will help with skin retraction. I would recommend you to see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to be...
