I had a closed rhinoplasty 14 months ago and one of my nostrils has this ridge on it. It feels like hitting a wall instead of a smooth transition from the base of my nostril to the tip. What is it? Will it go away? It causes my nose to look crooked from the top view. Do I need a revision, or is that too risky?

You are still healing at six weeks. Overall the nose looks good. You should give it at least 3 months before deciding if a revision is needed. At that point if you still want alarplasty and bringing down the columella, that can be done. If you end up liking your nose enough that you can live...
There are a few issues going on with your nasal dorsum. There are also less invasive ways to correct these issues and more involved ways to correct them. In my practice, I would choose to pursue the more involved approaches so that the nose will look like you had originally hoped that it would...
Your nose appears to be healing well and edema can take up to two years to fully resolve in revision cases. I think your surgeon performed a very nice revision and you should enjoy your new nose.
