Cost? How many syringes? Also any other suggestions to improve my face. I went to a consultation for lip lift and was denied due to when I talk my upper teeth do show. He said I would have a gummy smile if he did a lip lift. Then suggested tip nose refining which sounds good also he suggested a piece of cartilage to make the middle part of my nose to come down an would make the space between my lip and nose seem smaller!?!?! I don't know about all that.
Answer: Eye hollowness correction with a filler Thank you for your question. Based on the pictures you provided you seen to have moderate volume loss in the tear through area. Make up can be deceiving but I would inject one syringe of Restylane silk in your tear through and consider also adding additional support to the mid face by injecting Restylane lyft ( 1-2 Syringes). You do not want to overcorrect the volume loss but rather soften it's appearance. I use cannula technique to minimize any potential chance for bruising and for first timers, advise to have this procedure performed on a Friday as you are expected to have post procedure swelling the next day. I hope this helps. Best, Dr.Avaliani.

Answer: Hollow area under eyes Thanks for the question and the pics. An injection of a filler such as Restylane or Juvederm would do wonders for your problem. Not much would be needed from looking at your picture. Dr. ODell

Answer: Restylane for hollows under eyes You might consider having a filler such as Restylane injected into the hollows under the eyes. This is much less invasive than surgery. I usually prefer to inject this area with a blunt cannula instead of a sharp needle to reduce the risk for bruising. For most patients, one syringe is enough to make a noticeable difference. Answer: Filler treatment for treatment of eye hollow There are several excellent options for rejuvenating the eyes, and a proper physical exam is necessary to determine which treatment is best for you. To address the tear trough area, using an injectable soft tissue filler is a minimally invasive option that may delay surgical treatment for years. A “lunchtime blepharoplasty” is achieved by placing filler such as Restylane into the recessed area under the eye, or the so-called tear trough area to help camouflage the eyelid bags. The amount of filler required to treat the tear trough area varies from person to person but most patients usually require 1 syringe or less of Restylane. 1 syringe of Restylane costs about $600. In order to learn more about these treatments, I recommend an in person consultation with a facial plastic surgeon.

Answer: Hollow under eye area Hello! I understand your frustration. My suggestion would be a filler such as Restylane Silk or Volbella in the tear troughs via cannula (to reduce the chances of bruising). I would also consult with a skilled injector who could re-create your philtral columns. This would immediately make your mouth and lips appear more youthful without the need for surgery. It is not just the distance between the nose to the lip but the fact that you have lost (or maybe never had) real definition in this area. Accentuation of your cupid's bow would also re-define your mouth area and immediately make you appear more in balance and younger. It is quite easy to do with an injector who loves to do natural lips! Shelby Bentz MD
