Dear Sacrey, the "spock look" after Botox is one of the more common mistakes or under-treatments.  Please do not wait the 3-4 months for the Botox to wear off.  It is a simple correction of a few units on each side.  Consult your injector immediately, take care of this relatively simple problem and please stop feeling like you looking like Jack Nicholson :)

Hello Jujubonexx,  thank you for the helpful pictures in all the orientations.  I agree with all your concerns.  Most apparent is the oversized and "overbite" upper lip that extends too far laterally, making your lip seem both top-heavy and too wide for the shape of your face.  You have delicate features and the amount of filler has overwhelmed the natural heart-shape of your face.  The amount of filler in your bottom lip leaves you with the appearance of a short chin and reinforces the crease below your lip. I would either return to your injector (if you have a good relationship with them and have had successful filler in the past) or seek out an experienced practitioner who can use hyaluronidase to dissolve and shape your lips to a more pleasing shape.

Your cheeks are somewhat easier to correct.  Your left cheek has a bit more fullness in the temples but needs a touch more in the lateral zygoma area to give it  projection to match the right cheek.  Your right cheek is a very nice shape but needs a  bit more filler in the temple region.  I wouldn't go overboard with filling the cheeks too full or your will lose your delicate bone structure and draw other's vision right to your hyperthyroid eyes.  Highlighting and working with how the light hits your cheeks to enhance you beauty is the goal.

Hello!  I think that the last line in your question gives you the answer.  When you want a "defined jawline with NO trace of double chin from ANY angle" that necessitates liposuction as your best bet.  While Kybella and Coolsculpting are both very effective, I think you would not be happy with their results and, at your young age and appropriate weight and height, I would recommend saving up your money and time for liposuction.  Best wishes to you!

Hello,  If your dermatologist is concerned that you may be forming melasma or PIH after IPL, I would suggest that you apply a medical grade physical sunblock with a minimum SPF of 30 that contains zinc oxide a minimum of 3-4 times per day and start a hydroquinone or non-hydroquinone bleaching cream (discuss with your dermatologist) immediately.  Other factors besides the IPL that can exacerbate pigmentation include a history of melasma, hormone medications including oral contraceptives, abnormal thyroid tests, pregnancy and sun exposure.  Early treatment is essential if this is, in fact, melasma or hyperpigmentation. Good luck to you.  If you have to wait for your dermatology appointment, be  extra vigilant with your sunblock.

Hello!  I am sorry to hear of your discomfort.  Redness for approximately 2 days after IPL is normal but burning with moisturizer after 3 days is a bit unusual, especially if it is a product you have tolerated well in the past. Although it says that a photo accompanied your question, I do not see one and it is difficult to assess your condition without one.  If it is a new product or moisturizer, I would discontinue it and  speak with your provider as soon as possible.  I would not  wait for a week or two.  Best of luck to you.
