Kybella can breakdown fat and reduce the bulge under the chin but does not achieve the same result as liposuction.Chin liposuction helps reduce the bulge under the chin and can be done for the whole neck. Once the fat is removed the skin can become loose and saggy in some cases. It can be avoided by combining it with Thermitight which is a radiofrequency heat delivered under the skin to tighten it. Both chin liposuction and Thermitight can be done at the same time. The recovery is fast and it can be done under local anesthesia.Click on the video link belowRegardsDr. J
Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. As we age, collagen breaks down, resulting in loss of skin strength and elasticity. For tissue tightening, Ultherapy is ideal for the lower face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Morpheus8 to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
"For a double chin, InMode FaceTite with VASERlipo would give you the best result. With significant neck sagging you would need a facelift / neck lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). At the same time, I would recommend lasers (Fraxel, CO2, Halo, or Erbium) and microneedling RF (Fractora, Morpheus8, PiXel8, Intensif) to improve the crepey skin and wrinkles. Overall, the neck can be treated with a combination approach:1. Microneedling and laser treatments for texture2. Botox, Dysport, Xeomin or Jeuveau to help platysmal bands3. Intensif, Fractora, PiXel8, or Morpheus8 microneedling RF for crepey skin and lifting4. Injectable fillers like Belotero, Restylane Silk, Versa, and Juvederm Volbella to improve lines and folds5. Face/neck lifting if sagging is prominent or premature, with or without platysmaplasty (muscle tightening)6. Renuvion (J-Plasma), ThermiRF, and InMode FaceTite/AccuTite for internal tightening7. Ultherapy and Thermage for external tightening8. Regular Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, or InMode Forma treatments with facials to maintain tightness9. PDO NovaThreads or Silhouette InstaLift cone threads for lifting and long-term collagen productionSee an expert for a formal evaluation and to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your individual situation and goals. Dear Jamiehlu555,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from chin liposuction. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
An in person exam is always best, but based on your photos it appears you would have a nice improvement with submental liposuction. You could consider adding FaceTite as well which uses RF technology to tighten skin up to 40%. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.
Yes complete neck liposuction could improve your appearances. fees in the $5,000 ranges. Also might consider sub chin lipo with full open neck lift and muscle plication. Fee $12,000.
Patient perform a premature double chin, jowls and lack jawline definition typically do so because they have an under developed mandible in relation to their Maxilla.Liposuction works well to improve the area but the primary problem is skeletal structure.Liposuction gives better results in young people who do not have a loss of skin elasticities that comes with age. Starting around age 50 patients become much better candidates for a neck lift than Liposuction alone.Your best option is to have in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons to hear all the different treatment options available and pick the one you feel is most appropriate for you.To get the ideal outcome would require addressing all tissue layers including bone, muscle, fat and skin.Liposuction only addresses subcutaneous fat. Therefore it will give a partial improvement.Whether that is efficient or you’re looking for a more impressive result which could be had with a neck lift is something that needs to be discussed during a consultation.Advancing the mandible through cranial facial surgery may not be indicated or to everyone’s liking.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
Good day, thank you for sharing picture and information, It's quite hard to tell exactly, if a revision would be advantageous without proper face to face or online video examination. It ıs important to know whether your surgeon performed operation just from one entrance(hole) under the chin or ...
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful...
It is unlikely that the numbness that has recently occurred is related to liposuction from a year and a half ago. It is more likely related to your more recent procedures. I encourage you to visit with your dermatologist who performed the most recent treatment for an evaluation.
