I had masseter Botox and after a year my face seems to have extra skin on lower face. It creates a dark shadow here making my face look hollow. I am getting chin lipo plus jaw contouring next week and want to know if this will help this problem if not what will.

Answer: Extra skin on the face I don’t think you have a problem with extra skin or with loose skin at all. As we age our skin loses elasticity or stretchy Ness and this starts at a pretty young age. if you look at a picture of a 17-year-old, a 27-year-old and a 37-year-old woman you can easily tell the ages apart. even one year is still one year of aging and we all need to accept that our bodies will change with time. There is no particular good nonsurgical skin tightening though lots of people will offer lots of treatment options if you go shopping around. I don’t think you need any intervention at all. Stay fit and continue wearing sunscreen. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
