Could chin lipo 1.5 years ago have caused cheek numbness?

Question

I had chin lipo 1.5 years ago and since I have been treating a hypotrpoic scar from the Incision site on my jawline on the right side. I’ve mostly been using steroid injections. But recently my dermatologist injected saline. About 7 weeks ago. And since the. My cheek has been feeling not sore, but there’s a dull numbness and sometimes in trickles up to my eye. It also feels like it’s a bit swollen. But doesn’t look like it. Could this be from any of those treatments?

It is unlikely that the numbness that has recently occurred is related to liposuction from a year and a half ago.  It is more likely related to your more recent procedures.  I encourage you to visit with your dermatologist who performed the most recent treatment for an evaluation.

It’s a little difficult to understand what’s happening. Perhaps you should have a consultation with an ENT a.k.a. ear nose and throat doctor to see what’s going on.

What  you describe is not typical after chin liposuction.
