Hello I had chin lipo about 7 months ago. They got rid of the fat under my chin but not on the sides (jowl/jawline area) they said they couldnt. Now i feel it look a bit uneven, especially from a low angle. Is it possible to get lipo more on the sides? Thanks
Answer: Should I get further liposuction It's difficult to tell if a revision would be beneficial without an examination. If there is more fat pockets then further liposuction could be helpful. If it is loose skin you could consider adding FaceTite which uses RF technology to tighten skin up to 40%.

Answer: Chin liposuction Dear emzics, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Pictures asymmetry and Liposuction To make an assessment on the outcome of a procedure we really need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures then ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. In your picture you’re not holding your head straight. The human face is highly asymmetrical and very few people(less than 2% buy some studies) have something that resembles a symmetrical face. During embryological development the two sides of the face develop independently and eventually fused in the midline. The marginal mandibular branch of the facial nerve goes from being deep to superficial as it crosses over the body of the mandible. doing Liposuction in this area increases the risk for facial nerve paralysis. When it happens it is typically temporary but can create uneven mouth movement that can look strokelike for several months. Exactly how far and where is appropriate to do Liposuction is up to eat plastic surgeon. Some will actually do Liposuction of the Jowls but doing so puts the patient at increased risk for having at least temporary facial paralysis. To get a proper second opinion and understanding if a revision is appropriate or not I suggest scheduling in person second opinion consultations. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Neck laser liposuction from 3 entry points(under chin, and under earlobes) to get more defined jawline and proportional results Good day, thank you for sharing picture and information, It's quite hard to tell exactly, if a revision would be advantageous without proper face to face or online video examination. It ıs important to know whether your surgeon performed operation just from one entrance(hole) under the chin or from of the under earlobes as well. When neck liposuction performed just from under chin , then you may still have some fat tissue on the sides of the neck and on jawline area. We do always perform neck laser liposuction from 3 entry points(under chin, and under earlobes) to get more defined jawline and proportional results, of course you should consider the fact that our bodies by nature are asymmetrical and there is no total symmetry in nature.
