Is it possible to get a chin implant with missing molars?

Myth missing some of the back teeth does not influence the ability together chin implant.

I would say however that if you are likely to need a root canal treatment, it would be preferable to do this before having the chin implant, if they are related to the lower teeth. There is no specific crossover with the upper teeth root canal treatments.

An infection at the dental roots of the lower teeth can travel through the nerves that give feeling to the lower lip and produce an infection around the implant. If your implant is made of silicon, it will not be possible to treat the infection without removing the implant.

Is a similar general precaution, if someone has a chin implant and is likely to require root canal treatment to the lower teeth it is important to get this done promptly to minimise the chance of infection around the chin implant.

Hi! Having missing teeth will NOT impact your ability to get a chin implant. However, if you are going to be getting a root canal, I would absolutely do that FIRST before the implant, especially if the root canal is going to involve any of your lower teeth, as the the implant might get breached and/or it may seed bacteria into the implant, which would be bad.
