I really hate the nasolabial folds that I've developed, and I'd love to get rid of them. I tried to syringes of filler, using the method of filler the lower cheek to "lift" the nasolabial folds, but it didn't do much. I've tried microneedling a few times, didn't do anything. I'm 36, take good care of my skin & really don't want a mid-face lift. So what other options are there to tighten that skin & get rid of the folds? PS No threads
Answer: Considering options You can consider FaceTite to help tighten skin without general anesthesia. It can be combined with Morpheus8 treatments to improve overall skin tone and texture. Fillers would still be useful for you. We also recommend using medical grade skin care products like Transform MD and wearing sunscreen every day. See my website or a provider near you to learn more.

Answer: Lip lift One technique I use is a lip lift. As you can see, your lips are asymmetrical, one corner is lower than the other and both corners are down. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. This also helps eliminate the appearance of the nasal labial folds. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Treatment of nasolabial folds I'm not sure if the photo you provided is before or after the filler that you had. Based on the photo, it does appear to me that there is some volume loss in the cheeks. Normally, adding volume in the cheeks would improve the nasolabial folds. The only other treatment I can think of that you haven't tried that potentially could help would be direct excision of the nasolabial folds. It's difficult to tell if you might be a good candidate for this procedure, just based on the photo.

Answer: NLF Your nasolabial folds do not look too bad; however, if you are truly bothered by them, most likely you need more volume restoration. I'm not sure how many syringes you had, but I would consider doing filler to the cheeks and then also deep in the piriform/maxilla region. Probably 2-4 syringes at least to start. Agree with no threads!! And the microneedling will only do so much unless you are also doing it with radiofrequency for skin tightening, but the main thing you need is building up volume.

Answer: Decreasing Nasolabial Folds Usually when clients have nasolabial folds, I combine lifting the cheeks along with filler directly into the nasolabial fold. Sometimes multiple fillers in the nasolabial fold are required. For example, if you require 3 syringes in your nasolabial fold to achieve a result and you complete just one, then you can expect an approximate improvement of 33%. In some cases the nasolabial fold requires a filler that will add volume, well as a thinner filler that can be used to "clean up/soften" fine lines that are present in some cases. It is difficult to create a specific suggestion here based on the photo you have submitted which does not show the details we usually see in a real life assessment.
