Hello I’m 48 and really not liking the sagging of my lower face… I was wondering if a mini facelift would work for that?
Answer: A mini facelift would be an excellent choice for you. At 48 years of age, your skin quality and elasticity is likely to be excellent. A mini facelift would be an excellent choice to refine and straighten your jawline. Best wishes.

Answer: 48, sagging lower face, could a mini facelift fix my jowls? In person exam is essential. Photos- with all views are needed as well to evaluate accurately. Based on limited photo - it appears that you would benefit from facelift, neck lift with muscle tightening to achieve the best, long lasting result. I suggest that you seek an experienced Board Certified PS

Answer: Face, neck, jowls it appears that a lower face and neck lift would be a good procedure for you. Treatment of jowls consists of liposuction with a small cannula and excision of fat under direct vision. In-person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon with a good face/neck lift reputation is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: Yes, but there are likely better options! Yes, a mini facelift would help get rid of jowls and improve the contour along your jawline. That being said, I would be curious to see your whole face and neck--many patients in their late 40s and beyond will benefit more from a full facelift that addresses the neck more completely and is even more effective at getting rid of your jowls, along with fat grafting to contour the cheeks and restore the volume you have lost with age!

Answer: Improving Deep Wrinkles -- Botox/Xeomin/Dysport/Jeuveau, fillers, fat, RF treatments, Ultherapy, Renuvion, lasers, Sculptra A combination approach would give the most improvement. Deep wrinkles and smile lines can be improved with a combination of Botox and/or fillers for the lines themselves and to build anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy is a great skin tightening device, but works best in combination with other treatments like J Plasma, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, salt facials, Cosmelan for skin tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
