I want to get a BBL but I wondering how long after the surgery I can go back to work, I’m a nail tech so I sit on my butt all day long, and how long do I need to sleep on my stomach for post surgery? Thank you
Answer: BBL Thanks for the question. The length of time you will need to take off from work after a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery can vary depending on a number of factors, including the type of work you do, the extent of the procedure, and your individual recovery. Generally, most patients are able to return to desk jobs within 7-10 days after the surgery, while more physically demanding jobs may require a longer recovery period of 2-3 weeks or more. We advice sleep on stomach for 10 days after the surgery. It's important to discuss your individual recovery timeline with your plastic surgeon and follow their recommendations to ensure a safe and successful recovery. I wish you all the best.

Answer: BBL Recovery Thanks for your questions. As far as recovery is concerned, I generally tell my patients that they may return to work in 10-14 days after a Brazilian butt lift. My patients are instructed to minimize sitting for one month. If your job requires sitting, a special BBL pillow can be used to take some of the weight off of the buttocks. I also advise my patients to not sleep on their buttocks for at least 6 weeks. Make sure the surgeon you choose has extensive experience with BBLs and clean credentials. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: BBL after care - when will I be able to go back to work? How long will I need to sleep on my stomach? Hello @kimlien, thank you for your question. Is important to understand that every specialist has his own technique for performing every procedure.; It's like when every person has a different way to do one thing but gets to a similar outcome. Depending on the concept and technique applied by the doctor the recommendations and indications are different. Also there will be different possibilities for improvement depending on the vision and approach of the treating physician. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
