Really people ask you if you have herpes? Perhaps you need to hang out with nicer people. Your lips are lovely but somehow someone convinced you otherwise. As you age, and you will age, the volume of the upper lip will whither and this marker of youth will fade. If you ask enough surgeons, someone will excise that from your lip and disfigure you forever. I don't know if you have body dysmorphic issues or not. However, I would encourage you to speak with a psychologist or psychiatrist regarding your feeling about this feature before taking an irrevocable step.

I think you have beautiful lips and I would be careful to alter the appearance of your lip with surgery. It maybe possible to soften the appearance of the upper lip using a small amount of filler. 

You have an excess of vermilion tissue in the center of your upper lip. That can be removed with a vertical elliptical excision of it. Because of the natural vertical lines in the vermilion it will heal with a minimal and imperceptible scar.
