One side of my lip is really hard after lip filler. Is this permanent? (Photos)

I did lip fillers a while back one side was really hard so I dissolved it and re injected and now it’s still as hard. What’s happening ??? Is it permanently going to be hard ? Is the tissue damaged now ?? It doesn’t show but I can feel it. I did my lips 6 days ago so they are still swollen but still the right side is super hard and the left is soft.

Hello, thank you for your question. After lip injections, you can experience areas that are more firm that others. However, if these areas are also more painful and the swelling does not resolve, you should return to your provider for evaluation. This could be just product, but it could also be swelling, bruising, hematoma, etc. I think it would be best to return to your provider for further evaluation. I hope this helps!

Hey there thanks for the question! Your lips do look swollen, but the most common cause for swelling is bruising especially if some tenderness is also present. If your lips are painful they need a review straight away. I think it would be wise just to go back to your injector for a feel of the lumps to ensure there is nothing more than a bruise present.
