Why does the Dominican Rep require certain BMI and the States don't?

Question

I had a TT and BBL, my BMI is still 40 and my surgery was perfect. Isn't the states supposed to be stricter than overseas?

hello thank you for your question and provided information as well .. based on your question the Dominican Republic demands it is first because you should take care of your health first and avoid that surgery is a risk, second because if you go to surgery With BMI, high anesthesiology may decline.

Different surgeons will have different opinions and comfort levels with regard to this so it is best to ask the individual surgeon at your virtual or in-office consultation.  The two main reasons for targeting a BMI close to 30 is to lower the risks of complications during and after surgery and the raise the probability of attaining your ultimate goals in one surgery.   Remember that BMI is but one measure of fitness for surgery.

you need to know that plastic surgery is meant to be performed on overweighted patient or patients that have reached their ideal weight, most of the recommendations for surgery are provided by the surgeon and anesthesiologist societies in order to diminish the risk of complications.
