CoolSculpting uses cryolipolysis (cold) as its baseline technology to kill fat cells, while Body FX uses radiofrequency (heat). After reviewing the results we have come to like CoolSculpting as a more effective and controlled technology. In fact, we were so successful with one machine that we had to buy a second one to keep up with demand. We now very seldomly perform liposuction because CoolSculpting has taken over much of our liposuction practice.
While both non-invasive procedures help reduce the excess patches of fat cells that pester patients' bodies, BodyFX and CoolSculpting have a few minor differences that make them a choice that should be left up to the patient. While the applicators that are similar to a vacuum are both comparable, the biggest difference in the fat-loss technique pertains to temperature, as CoolSculpting uses cold temperatures, while BodyFX uses a heat waves through radio frequency. It is all based on what the patient has a higher tolerance for, but be sure to consult a physician.
Hello!Looking up BodyFX, it says that it is a treatment that is to treat cellulite. Coolsculpting however is designed to help distinct fat pockets/bulges versus the cellulite which has to do with the way fat presents with internal connective tissue. If you are looking for fat reduction in the abdomen I would choose CoolSculpting which has over 10 years of research behind it, but if you are looking for help with cellulite I would choose the BodyFX.I hope that helps!
There are many years of reliable effective results available confirming the effectiveness of CoolSculpting. The same can not be said about BodyFX.

When it came time for our clinic to decide on a body contouring / cryolipolysis machine we evaluated all of the available evidence and decided on Coolsculpting for a number of reasons. First and foremost, Coolsculpting is safe. Coolsculpting has a “freeze detect” technology that detects if the...
Thank you for your question. To help reduce swelling and bruising, I would advise you to keep up with the regime you are already on with the Bromelain and Arnica. Also, drink plenty of fluids and a massage in the treated areas may help. I recommend having a follow up with your treating physician...
CoolSculpting and laser hair removal are fine to treat during the same time period. I would do each on separate days to reduce any irritation to the area and ensure both are equally effective.
Thank you for your question. The CoolSculpting fat-freezing procedure is the only FDA approved, non-surgical fat-reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists all efforts through diet and exercise. Based on your question and photos, I would say your are...
Based on what you have described, coolsculpting does not seem to be the best option for you. Coolsculpting is not a weight loss procedure and is best used on individuals who are at their ideal weight but still has some pockets of stubborn fat. An in person consultation is always best. Please co...
