Is it possible to have a rhinoplasty that keeps a similar original shape? (Photos)

Hey all! I have been researching HEAVILY on plastic surgeons for years now (I am now 30 and have wanted a rhinoplasty since i was 16). And to this day, I have only seen “after” photos thst represent very similar nose types (the standard swoop, upturn nose). While I don’t mind this and think it can look very tasteful on others, I dont particularly like this on myself. I have edited my own “after“ photo to depict what outcome I ideally would want. You can see I have a dorsal hump and slightly downturned nose, but I would really just want a smaller version of that. More refined nostrils, no hump, bu still “me”, if that makes sense. Let me know your thoughts and if this outcome is possible.

Hello and thank you for your question and pictures. You actually have a very difficult problem to correct- a long nose with a hanging columella and excess nostril show. Unfortunately, a minimal procedure or surgery "just to the tip" or "just to the columella" will not be able to fix your issues-...

Sone surgeons use throat packs and others do not. I usually use a throat pack to prevent blood in the trachea but I know many who don’t. I don’t think it’s a basis for selecting one surgeon over another. I am aware of a case where there was an airway problem after rhinoplasty and the fact that ...

I think your result is quite good. It may not be exactly as you might have wanted but I would not do a revision. It will only make it worse

Rhinoplasty would help the results that you are looking for. Also for the smiling, lip filler would be much better when it combined with rhinoplasty surgery. You don't need to be scared, everything can be done.

Unfortunately, you have only provided a side view and no frontal view. I can only see a super tip concavity. You may benefit from a rhinoplasty to straighten the dorsum. If you want to change the width of the nose this can be done at the same time. I need more photographs to give a more...

Based on your photo, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The tip size and width can be narrowed and refined. While it won't really change how your eyes appear, a slimmer nose can make your face appear slimmer as well. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.
