Would a revision help to restore features of my old nose? (Photos)

Question

I had rhinoplasty The morphs looked like my nose but narrower and sloped from the side and slight uplifted tip However it went very wrong, The took so much cartilage away and over projected my tip, Can i restore some features of my old nose with revision?

The major issue with your rhinoplasty result is that your bridge is several millimeters too low. I don't think that you would like to restore a nasal bump, however, a less curved nasal profile appearance may indeed be more pleasing. In our practice, we can gain several millimeters of permanent nasal bridge augmentation utilizing microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections, for permanent results. Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. It is possible to increase the projection of the nasal bridge and de-rotate slightly the nasal tip, in particular, with an adjustment in the position of the tip-defining points.

Restoring a nasal bridge bump is usually a significant problem, as it generally does not look natural, and I would advise against it. However, if you feel that you would like to generate a small nasal bridge bump, my recommendation is to have a rhinoplasty that increases the projection of the bridge, which will also change the balance with the nasal tip, lower slightly the tip-defining points. Then, if you feel strongly about the nasal bridge bump, use injectable filler, which can be directed more precisely and, if disliked, can be removed relatively easily.

I think your result is quite good. It may not be exactly as you might have wanted but I would not do a revision. It will only make it worse

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a revision rhinoplasty to give a more natural looking result. Your longterm results would need to be evaluated. Make sure you are going to a surgeon with hundreds of long-term before and after pictures on their website with standardized lighting and standardized backgrounds. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
