30 years old - How obtainable is a conservative rhinoplasty? (Photos)

Question

I have always wanted a nose job but do not want your typical ”ski slope” rhinoplasty. I feel that it would not match my proportions. Instead, I want to keep my natural ethnic style nose, just smaller and revised. I will attach a photo I did to “mimc” this look and need a professionals opinion if this is a common end result!

Maneuvers for your surgery would include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, among other maneuvers. Make sure you are going to a surgeon with hundreds of long-term before and after pictures on their website with standardized lighting and standardized backgrounds. You would benefit from a rhinoplasty.  You would also benefit from a chin implant.  This is done through an intra-oral approach to eliminate external scars.  Both can be done simultaneously.

There is no doubt that in the hands of an experienced board certified plastic surgeon, with good reputation in rhinoplasty, you can expect result better than on your second photo. I think you can get a nose you like, and not lose your "ethnic style nose", and be happier with the result, if you also elevate the tip of the nose, just a bit, and narrow the tip a bit as well. When you take the bump down off of the bridge, it often makes the nose *look* longer, as if the tip had actually dropped, so elevating the tip a touch can help a lot, make it so that the nose doesn't "somehow" still look too big after surgery.
It'd be important for the surgeon to make his own morphs of what that would look like for you, so you could nail down a goal before surgery. Morphs are crucial for any nose operation, as you seem to instinctively understand. If a surgeon says, "I'll lower the bump and raise your tip," you don't know if you're getting a ski slope and the shortest nose on the east coast, or if it'll be precisely what you're looking for. Morphs pin that down for you!
