Does it have to be fat from the hips, thighs, or can it be an area where excessive fat is stored? I have a huge belly after two kids & two miscarriages & I'd rather the fat be taken from from my "trouble" area & my back rather than my thighs or hips. My legs are small but my torso area is quite "meaty" so please give me some good news someone...
Answer: Can you use the fat from your stomach for Brazilian Butt Lift? Yes, you can use the fat from your stomach for the Brazilian buttlift. I would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of these procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well as before and after photos on that surgeon's website.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Can you use the fat from your stomach for Brazilian Butt Lift? Hello, and thank you for reaching out to us.My best advice to you would be to set up an in person consultation with an accredited, board certified surgeon. A surgeon who has undertaken hundreds of these procedures, a surgeon whose work you are impressed with. You have your own unique specifications, dimensions, and body dynamic. To reach your target you have to take all of these things and more into considerations. You do seem like you would be a great candidate for a BBL. Once you go through your pre-op and consults, and you have clearly identified your surgical goals, your surgeon will tell you exactly what is needed to meet your goals. This is an exciting procedure but one that should be approached with the utmost level of honesty. A patient should be very clear as to what they hope to achieve. The surgeon will then look at your unique body frame and determine viability and the methods to achieve your targeted look.I wish you the best of luck, we have covered many of these topics. I am also attaching a video with greater details about fat transfer. The more you know the better prepared you will be to achieve your goals. It is all about designing the perfect plan for You.Good luck, please let us know how it goes.- Dr. Constantino Mendieta

Answer: Can you use the fat from your stomach for Brazilian Butt Lift? Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Fat can be harvested from many areas: arms, chin, abdomen, back, flanks, thighs, etc. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Good luck :)
