Hello, and thank you for reaching out to us.Quality of the patient’s skin, qualities like tightness, moisture content, elasticity, etc are greater indicators of post-surgical success than age alone is. Think about how much better an in shape older person who takes high care of him/her self is compared to a younger person with less attention to his/her lifestyle. This same thinking is a part of what guides a surgeon when determining viability. My best advice to you would be to set up an in person consultation with an accredited, board certified surgeon. You have your own unique specifications, dimensions, and body dynamic. To reach your target you have to take all of these things and more into considerations.I wish you the best of luck, if you want any more guidance please check out our blog, we have covered many of these topics.- Dr. Constantino Mendieta
The age by itself will not prevent you from having the surgery. Iwould search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel ismost likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds ofthese procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well asbefore and after photos on that surgeon's website.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
General health is the best determinate for elective surgery. When planning a Brazilian butt lift, patients can look forward to a double benefit: reducing areas of unwanted fat while gaining a perkier, rounded posterior. Each procedure must be planned according to the individual needs of patients, harvesting fat from target areas of the torso, thighs or knees and transferring it to create smooth, attractive contours optimized for each person. That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Best is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Your BMI is within the recommended range, but unfortunately, without pictures, it is very difficult to give you a proper answer. There is no age limit for plastic surgery, it all depends on your current health condition and your lab tests. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Age per se is not a contraindication if you are healthy and have a low BMI. Best to be evaluated in person to be properly examined.
Age is not an issue, 60 is young.your general health and availability of fat is important in deciding on the surgery. After examination all options can be discussed
Most surgeons view a patient's age as relative and look at overall health as the more important factor. There are certain steadfast rules in surgery, such as which patients should get certain tests before surgery based on age.Elective cosmetic surgery is done on people over the age of 60 routinely.Patients are judged on an individual basis based on the multitude of factors.I suggest consulting in person with an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon to see if you're a candidate. Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on your pictures, you are a great candidate for liposuction with BBL, and I think you'll get very good results. Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abdomen, back...
Thank you for your question. It is hard to provide with a valid medical opinion without see any photo of you. What I suggest you is be consulted by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
