Size DD - wanting to be bigger and more perky! (Photo)

Question

I'm a dd size breast now and I want to go bigger about a cup size and be more perky ! I worry about healing and being cut vertical for a full lift and the size I like was a 475 gummi bear textured implant ! I'm worries about what would be too big or not big enough?? And can I advoid that cut and still have a lift ??? Help

If one has larger breasts and significant sagginess to the breasts, a lift is often needed. When a breast lift is performed, most techniques result in scars on the lower part of the breast. Scars result from extra skin being removed. Scars are permanent and are a compromise between the shape of your breast and the visibility of the scars. A good exam by a your surgeon is always necessary to determine the various options that one has with regards to lifting techniques and implants.

Thank you for you picture and questions.  Based on your pictures, it appears you need a lift.  Simply placing implants would not look good.  Selecting the appropriate size is very important, not only to achieve the size you want but also the safety factor of combining it with a lift procedure.  To go one cup size bigger, a 475 cc implant may be a little bigger than needed.  But an in person consult would better help determine the appropriate size for you.  Make sure you have an open discussion with your plastic surgeon about your goals.

You definitely need a lift. You might have enough volume to not warrant an implant. It is up to you, but sometimes it is better to stage the augmentation after the lift.

lift vs implants.If you want your breast fuller and are happy with the shape of them, then an implant will be fine. Keep in mind an implant will only "fill our breast up" it will not "lift them up". They will look just like they do now, they are just bigger and fuller with an implant only. If you feel this will meet your goals, then an augmentation should be fine. If you are unhappy with the position of your breast and feel they are too low, then an implant will likely not satisfy you and you will want to consider the lift. A lift will "lift them up" and put them in a higher position, change the size of the areola and "lift" them off of your chest. Often times both of these procedures are combined to achieve an optimal result. By lifting them and adding volume, the breast will not only sit higher on your chest but will also have the nice fullness from the implant. Dr Ennis

To obtain a perky more full look you will likely need both a lift and added volume with an implant. If you only have an implant you will have increased volume in your upper breast and still have a droopy lower breast with a nipple that is not centered on the most projecting portion of your implant. Deciding on size is complicated and based on your measurements, goals, use of sizing systems, and simulation devices. Good luck to you!

Hi,Thanks for the question.you need breast lift thats clear from the pictures but to do it without scar is not possible.For size up normally a 200 cc addition will take you one side up but if you like you can go up to 300cc with lift to end up one size larger than whatever you are now.This just an opinion based on single picture and without any clinical examination face to face.Its just to guide  you.I like my patients to come with picture of breast taken from net to show what they are wanting to look like so that I can modify my lift surgery accordingly.I wish you all the best

Based on your photo you will need a berast lift to avoid the "snoopy Deformity" after you have breast implants.Size of implants will depend on the measurement of your breast base width which your surgeon will measure.Please see a board certified plastic surgeon for an exam.For more information please read below:
