If one has larger breasts and significant sagginess to the breasts, a lift is often needed. When a breast lift is performed, most techniques result in scars on the lower part of the breast. Scars result from extra skin being removed. Scars are permanent and are a compromise between the shape of your breast and the visibility of the scars. A good exam by a your surgeon is always necessary to determine the various options that one has with regards to lifting techniques and implants.

Thank you for you picture and questions.  Based on your pictures, it appears you need a lift.  Simply placing implants would not look good.  Selecting the appropriate size is very important, not only to achieve the size you want but also the safety factor of combining it with a lift procedure.  To go one cup size bigger, a 475 cc implant may be a little bigger than needed.  But an in person consult would better help determine the appropriate size for you.  Make sure you have an open discussion with your plastic surgeon about your goals.
