Puffy Nipples after MiraDry?

I'm a male who had gynecomastia surgery a few years back to remove lumps under my nipples. After Miradry, my nipples have puffed back out. It has been 11 days now and they're still puffy. I've tried using compression to keep them down and wanted to know if this is unusual or if I should be concerned.

It would be best to wait until all swelling and numbness goes away before you consider tanning, which could lead to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin).

Three days post MiraDry treatment is still early.  Give it a little more time to heal and see your full result.  Most patients who undergo one MiraDry treatment see a 60-80% reduction in sweat and odor.  Reevaluate at 3 months to determine whether you need another treatment.  Until then, goo...

It is still normal to sweat 2 days after your procedure. You need to wait 6 weeks to assess your new baseline sweat production. You will definitely see a reduction at this time. If a second treatment is needed, it is typically performed at 3 months after the first.Best wishes,Dr. Ravi Somayazula
