Miradry affected by pregnancy? Will it go back to how it was before?

This could be one of two things:- the hormonal changes from pregnancy causing thermoregulation issues and causing you to sweat more.  If so, this should return to normal after pregnancy.- you just need a second treatment and the return of sweating coincided with pregnancy.You can't get another treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding, so see what happens after pregnancy.

It is not uncommon to need a second treatment of MiraDry.  Wait until after the birth of your child and reevaluate.  Sometimes your body will return to its normal pre-baby state.  Hang in there.  Unfortunately, everyone is different and there can not be a definitive answer for you.

Hopefully this will be a temporary effect. I have seen this occur in 2 patients after suction curettage procedure done approximately 5 years prior. Never seen it after miraDry. Dr H Karamanoukian#RealSelf100 Member
