Dear msfefee50,
it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, it is possible to get a BBL if your blood pressure is well controlled. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

If your blood pressure is well controlled, you could be a candidate for the BBL. Your board certified PS will probably want clearance from your PCP before scheduling the BBL.

There is no age limit for plastic surgery, it all depends on your current health condition and your lab tests.  
In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.​
l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

You could have the procedure as long as your blood pressure is well controlled. Take the time to regularly monitor at homeTo make sure it’s where it should be. The issue with BBL and liposuction is the epinephrine used in the tumescent solution. If someone’s pressure is not properly controlled even with medication or non-compliant, it could spike someone’s blood pressure to dangerous levels. The ideal candidates for both Liposuction and fat transfer procedures tend to be young women with tight skin.

As we get into middle-age our bodies loose skin elasticity and this makes us slightly lesser candidates for the procedure.

If you’re otherwise a good candidate for the procedure your age alone or being on blood pressure medication should not prevent you from having the procedure.
