A 250-300 cc implant high profile implant will give you a full C cup size. Either a periareolar or inframammary approach in the dual plane would be recommended.
Thank you for your inquiry and photo. I agree with my colleague that without a physicalexamination it is difficult to respond with accuracy, but the best way todetermine which breast implant size is best for you is by first finding outyour specific wishes not only with words or letters as in cup size or “not toobig” or “natural”, but also with a visual understanding of what you hope tolook like. This can be accomplished either with photographs of patients whosebreasts and body type look like you, or ideally with photos of patients notonly shoes breasts are similar to yours, but are also a similar height, weight, and pre-operative breast size. In our own practice we have provided that uniquefunctionality on our website to accomplish exactly that. Unfortunately the most common reason for a woman to beunhappy after her augmentation is feeling as though she is either too big ornot big enough. Thankfully, in our practice this is rarely a problem becauseimplant size selection is what we spend most of our time discussing and determining.I do not place the onus of selecting the breast implant size on my patientssince they are coming to me for my advice and expertise, but I do ask mypatients to be as specific as possible about their aesthetic goals and I thenadvise them accordingly. I would advise you to seek the advice of a board certifiedplastic surgeon experienced in breast enhancement surgery and make sure thatyour own sense of aesthetics aligns with that of your plastic surgeon. Youridea of “natural” or “pretty” or “proportionate” might be different from yourplastic surgeon’s and it is very important for you to feel confident that yourare both of like minds as far as the goals. Best of luck to you and I hope youare successful in achieving the enhancement you are seeking.
Every person is different so that different volume implants will result in different outcomes with regards to cup size. It's not like putting bumpers on Chevrolets. If you look on the internet and find ten people your height, weight, and body frame, they may all have different sized implants and may all look good. Also, bra manufacturers do not have standard cup sizes so that also complicates things. Questions regarding which size, shape, style of implant to use are best answered in consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience in this area. I would suggest that you schedule an appointment with a plastic surgeon who can examine you in person, discuss your goals, and review your options with you.
Hi... thank you for the question and photos... In my practice, in cases like this with 300cc silicon gel implants under the muscle this size is achievable with breast like yours.. even though testers are the best way to determine this.
More than one implant choice can give you your desired outcome. Your question will be best answered at your visit to the surgeon. It will depend on his sense of art and vision. It will vary from surgeon to surgeon since there is no ONE answer.
You need to be seen in person to properly evaluate you and size you for implants. Good luck with your decision to move forward.
Thank you for the question and picture. Based on your photograph, I think that you are starting at a good place should have a nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical.Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice.3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.
Your breasts are very normal and fairly average size in the mid to upper B cup size. They are not unusually wide or narrow but they are "off-axis" which means the nipple-areola is pointing laterally or not straight ahead. This is a basic characteristic of your breasts and cannot be changed with a properly sized and positioned implant that acts like a pillow behind your breast. You should avoid thinking in terms of cc's or "how much will it take". Implants that look natural and achieve the expected size increase have to be fitted to your breast, positioned properly, healed there, and achieve their size increase for the breast because of the forward volume (profile) of the implant. For the standard approach of smooth surface, round implants positioned under the pectoralis muscle (saline-filled or gel-filled), you can choose from at least three forward profiles for the same diameter implant that fits the internal width of your breast. Think of them as "low", "medium", or "high" profile even though they're not always called that. If you want to gain a cup size then you should choose the lowest profile implant that matches the width of your breast (upright, with arms down and subtracting about 3/4 to 1cm for the skin). Then you look up that width for the diameter of the implant and find out how many cc's it has for the lowest profile. In my experience, trying to do this with external sizers or doing it during surgery is inaccurate and misleading. If you were fitting a dress or a shoe you would be measured rather than choosing a size and making it work. You can "try on" a shoe or dress to see if it fits but you can't do this with a breast implant in spite of attempts to use external sizers. Although it's not exact since cup sizes are not exact, but it's possible to know an implant will fit and what effect it will have before the surgery. The surgery is to get the implant positioned properly and then you help get it healed there. Best wishes for your procedure.
The best way to get to the size that you would like to be is to see a board certified plastic surgeon. You can be measured and try on different implants that match the size that you want to be and discuss the various options of your proposed surgery.

Yousing your hand results in use of your pectoralis muscle which will pull up the implant on that side. Thus, your dominant hand is likely to be used more often resulting in pulling up the implant on that side. It is very important to actively remind yourself not to use this hand/arm/etc. as it...
