Thank you for your question. It is typical to have some tingling or numbness soon after breast augmentation surgery. Lidocaine patches will tend to make the nipples numb and should be only used short term. This will generally improve and resolve on it's own with time.
Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear about your symptoms, but these are not uncommon after a breast augmentation. With the swelling and skin stretching that occurs with surgery, the nerves in your breast are stretched and become irritated, causing the burning and tingling sensations. As the swelling resolves, and your skin accommodates the size of your implants, these feelings will start to improve. Just be aware it may take several weeks. Hang in there
Your symptoms are wholly due to excessive swelling following your breast augmentation. In my practice we like to begin gentle arm motion exercises right after surgery to improve blood flow and diminish swelling. We also have our patients shower soon after surgery. This works well enough that most patients have adequate pain relief on Ibuprofen alone. Certain factors such as larger implants and individual patient characteristics will also affect post op swelling. In in any case, check with your surgeon to work out a plan to address your post op concerns.
All of your symptoms you describe are very common after Breast Augmentation. As the swelling resolves and your skin stretches to accommodate the implant, your symptoms should start resolving as well. Vicodin is a narcotic pain reliever and you should consult with your prescribing physician.

Thank you for asking about your breast augmentation preparation.I would stop exercising your arms a week before your breast augmentation. Sore muscles are more likely to go into spasm and give your more pain afterwards. Hope this helps. Best wishes. Elizabeth Morgan MD PHD FACS Board Certified ...
I'm sorry you are having problems with an infection that won't clear. The first step should be to take out the piercing if you haven't already- it is likely contributing to the inability to clear the infection. Then start warm water soaks with soap to help bring any purulent material...
Hello, for what i could evaluate on the photos, you would need to wait for your skin to heal, completely and the scars to mature a bit longer, the you could have a revision of the scars, and round up the areola again, shouldn't be a problem. Best wishes
