HOWEVER my dr asked me not to massage it, smile or laugh. its the second day, i didnt massage it at all BUT its been VERY difficult to avoid smiling/laughing/big expressions as i am a talkative person, so im just wondering is it really necessary?

The best way to remove this filler would be to have Vitrase injected in the small area that makes you unhappy. Please consult an expert so that your normal collagen is not dissolved. Best, Dr. Green
Thank you for your question. Having some swelling and discomfort is normal and can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. However, it is not normal to be experiencing a lot of pain and this needs to be evaluated. I recommend having a follow up immediately with your injector for an evaluation. Best of Luck!
