I originally wanted a tummy tuck with abdominal etching and butt implants. I found out the better option is to get a lower body lift with rotational flaps into the buttocks. Can anyone tell if this procedure includes a tummy tuck with liposculpture of the flanks? Also, I realize getting an exact quote is impossible, however, can anyone give me a ball park figure for this procedure(s)? I'm trying to get the work done in early May if possible so that I'm all healed by the end of July...VACAY!!
Answer: Lower body lift with rotational flaps to the buttocks You are a good candidate for this procedure, as you don't have enough fat available relative to your skin deflation to get a good result with a Brazilian Butt Lift. Implants aren't a great choice though they seem to be making a comeback. Most of the time an abdominoplasty is also performed, though it is safest to do this first then come back and do the posterior part with the rotational flap for buttock auto-augmentation. Combining the front and back portions at one surgery is associated with a higher risk of postoperative problems, especially if you are not in the right hands. Costs will vary depending on whether the surgery is done in a high-cost location or not, plus other factors. An estimate is 6-8k for the abdominoplasty and a similar range for the posterior procedure.

Answer: 360 circumferential lower body lift lower body lift buttock augmentation rotation flap butt implant combined procedures Hi Callis, Thank you for your question regarding a lower body lift with rotation flaps into the buttocks. Basically from your history and your pictures, I believe you need a tummy tuck, abdominal liposuction with etching (VASER Hi DEF 6 pack), buttock lift, and buttock augmentation. To accomplish this wish list, you will need two separate surgeries. First, I would suggest you have a 360 circumferential lower body lift; some people also called a belt lipectomy. You can have the lower back/upper butt tissues rotated into your buttocks. However, you do not have that much excess skin and fat for rotational flap buttock augmentation. To achieve a satisfactory buttock augmentation, even if you have the rotation butt flap, you will still need buttock implants. You simply just do not have enough skin and fat to achieve a proportionate butt with a rotational buttock flap. It is unsafe to perform buttock augmentation with implants at the same time as the 360 circumferential lower body lift. There is a high chance of buttock implant infection and wound breakdown. In addition, during a 360 circumferential lower body lift, it is unsafe to perform abdominal etching or VASER Hi DEF 6 pack to the abdomen . It is better to save the buttock augmentation with implants and abdominal etching for a second surgery. Your second surgery can be performed approximately one month after your 360 circumferential lower body lift. I hope I have answered your questions regarding a lower body lift with buttock rotation flaps. Good luck! If you have further questions regarding the 360 circumferential lower body lift, belt lipectomy, buttock augmentation with the rotation flap or butt implant, please contact my office. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen.

Answer: Lower body lift Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a great candidate for a lower body lift with autoaugmentation flaps for added buttock volume. Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Answer: Congratulations are in order! Thank you for your question, congratulations on the great weight loss you have obtained through hard work and determination. An abdominoplast or "tummy tuck" consists of removing all excessive skin in the area of the abdomen. The liposculpture of the back and flanks consists of removing or subducting the fat located in the area of the back. You need both procedures and the extracted fat to be placed in the buttocks. You also need a thigh lift to remove the excessive surplus skin that can be seen in the photo. The first three procedures could be performed in a first intervention if your current state of health allows it. Best regards.

Answer: Lower body lift Congratulations on your weight loss! You would be an ideal candidate for a lower body lift with auto-augmentation of the buttocks using your own tissue and avoiding implants or fat grafting. You can combine this with abdominal operations as well. Make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in auto-augmentation procedures. Good luck!
