Dr Sanki is an amazing surgeon with a fantastic team. She is thoughtful and caring, honest and practical. She was so patient with all my questions and I could tell she really cared about the outcome I was trying to achieve for my body and for the impact on my life more generally. It’s been about five months since my breast augmentation and I have never felt happier in my body than I do now!! Everyone in Dr Sanki’s offices are also so, so friendly. I’m so grateful I was able to go to Dr Sanki for my surgery. It has really changed my life.
The true definition of a WOMAN! She is graceful and elegant, tends to your emotional needs and has an amazing bed side manner. She is intelligent (answers all your questions and is scarily honest), and as soon as she is in her superhero costume (surgical scrubs) she is professional, precise in her work (she even has a little tool box to mark you up and make sure everything is measured correctly), and makes you feel valued as a human being (not just a walking paycheck). On the note of money - she is not at all money hungry (I had discussed liposuction for my arms to go with my breast augmentation (but then lost weight)- and she straight out said "go buy new bras with that money"). I think she is amazing!! From the moment you walk into her candle infused office for your initial consultation, to the moment she is setting you up for surgery this woman is there for you - post op she came and checked up on me, she and her team called me personally everyday to check up on me. I developed a minor infection post op (I have neutropenia- absolutly nothing to do with her surgery) and even while she was on an international holiday she made an effort to liaise with her team to set me up in hospital and give me the care I needed (antibiotics). I cannot recommend Dr Sanki enough. My boobs look amazing - natural and feminine. She is truly an artist (her stitch work, everything is neat, in the right place, etc.). I am very very thankful to her and wouldn't choose anyone else!!
So happy that I chose Dr Amira Sanki to operate on me. She's very talented, professional, and caring person. My incision is perfect and healing perfectly, and I'm only 5 weeks post-op. Very happy with my results so far, thank you Dr Amira. Highly recommended, I wouldn't choose anyone else. Extended abdominoplasty, muscles repair, no liposuction.
After loosing 50+ kg I went on my journey to renew my body. After a lot of research I found Dr Amira Sanki and I am so so so glad I did She is a absolute queen! I'm so happy with my results of a extended tummy tuck, lift and implants. Dr sanki is a beautiful lady and she made the process exciting and not scary at all. I highly recommend and praise Dr sanki.

Dr Amira, was fantastic from the get go. She listened to my concerns, answered my questions, never did a 'hard sell', I was comfortable going into surgery that I was in knowledgeable hands. She did a fantastic job and her after op care is second to none. I have a better body now in my 40s than i did in my 20s. I highly recommend Dr Sanki and her whole team.
One one consult and I felt at peace! Dr Sanki answered all my questions with professionalism and integrity. She has always made me feel welcome, safe and has provided the care I have needed. I might add my breast reduction is looking fabulous.
I couldn’t recommend a more knowledgeable, professional, supportive, and kind plastic surgeon other than Dr Amira Sanki. She was wonderful throughout my entire experience of Breast augmentation/reconstruction. From the very first consultation, she explained to me everything I needed to know and all my options for surgery. She was beyond supportive, always ensuring I was happy with everything before going forward. Dr Amira Sanki really listened to my concerns and what I wanted, and really took into account my individual case. Dr Amira Sanki called me the day before and after surgery to make sure I was doing well and to ensure recovery was as smooth as it could be. She really invests time in her patients to make sure that they are fully informed and comfortable with everything. In terms of the procedure, I was amazed by how fast and easy my recovery was, of course this is because of her extensive experience and surgical techniques. I was driving within 7 days and was able to get back to my normal routine. Prior to my surgery, I had a large difference in the sizes of each breast. Now I cannot even tell which side was the smaller one. I have so much more confidence and self-esteem. Dr Amira Sanki has truly changed my life.
Dr Amira Sanki is an amazing surgeon! I'd go as far as saying shes The Best Surgeon! I had my tummy tuck done by her and I'm extremely happy with my results, I will be forever grateful for how she's transformed me!
There’s no other way to describe Dr Sanki other than ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Her attention to detail, her caring nature, her understanding and professionalism is second to none! From the moment I walked into her office for my first consult I knew I was in the right place! Dr Sanki has a way of making you feel like you’re not just a number. She also has the power to form a personal connection that ultimately built my confidence in her and her work! Choosing Dr Amira Sanki was the best decision I ever made!
Hi there, Your surgeon will have their own specific ideas about when you can return to exercise based on the kind of muscle repair they did, the size of your rectus divarication and how your recovery is going to date. In my practice, I recommend my patients do gentle walking as soon as they feel up to it. This is then increased according to their ability. It is normal to feel really run down for up to 12 weeks and you should not beat yourself up about not being able to work out like you used to before surgery. I definitely do not recommend any exercise that works on your core e.g. pilates, yoga until 6 weeks post op. You should also expect to see some increased swelling and a bit more pain when you start exercising. Listen to your body, and do only what feels right.
Hi there, Most plastic surgeons recommend that you should only consider plastic surgery once you are at a stable weight for over 6 months. It is normal for any woman to have weight fluctuations through the year of 3-5 kgs. Fluctuations of more than this should be settled down before considering surgery. The main reason is that significant weight loss will loosen your skin and significant weight gain will make you unhappy again despite the plastic surgery. You can definitely have children after a tummy tuck, but I wouldn't recommend it. The reason is that pregnancy causes your skin to rapidly stretch and then even more rapidly deflate. Your skin may not bounce back to its pre-baby position. I would also recommend not having a muscle repair during your tummy tuck if you are planning further kids. Obviously, this is a pretty brief discussion of a very important matter, and I would recommend going into greater detail about your social situation with your surgeon. Best of luck!
Hi there, Your belly button does look a bit pink and angry. It is quite common to get an infection in the belly button as it is a little warm, moist tunnel that is ideal for bacterial overgrowth. I would firstly send a picture or go in to see your plastic surgeon. They will possibly suggest the following - Air you belly button for a few hours in the day and make sure you completely mop out any moisture from it after you shower -apply a topical antiseptic such as betadine or chlorhexine twice daily -get a wound swab to check what bacteria are growing -commence an antibiotic that covers both gram negative and gram positive bacteria e.g. ciprofoxacin Don't stress too much about this once you have commenced treatment. A small umbilical infection will clear quickly and will not affect your long term outcome. PS There is also quite a significant red mark on your skin from your binder and I would suggest not wearing it so firmly. A binder should be firm but not tight.
Hi there, It appears you have a small white area at the T junction part of a breast wound. This is most likely due to a small area of poor blood supply to the skin causing the skin to necrose (die). That sounds awful, but it is going to be ok. It is unfortunately common to have skin necrosis at this area of the wound as the blood supply feeding oxygen to this skin is weakest. The treatment is to apply dressings to keep the area clean. Your surgeon will guide you as to whether these dressings should be dry to mop up any fluid or wet to help new skin cells grow. It will take about 4-6 weeks for this to heal. It will not affect your long term outcome, and you will still get a great result.
HI there, a small hard lump under your incision line can be a few different things. I would see you plastic surgeon to help work this one out. They might refer you for an ultrasound to check what is making the lump. If the lump is scar tissue, then I would suggest massage and patience unfortunately. If it is a small bruise or seroma, aspiration under ultrasound guidance or by your surgeon in the office, might get rid of it. It may also be a blob of dying or dead fat. This will also pass with time. Finally removing your loose skin may have exposed an underlying hernia. All causes are not dangerous, but I would let your surgeon know within the next few weeks so that they can investigate and sort it out for you.
