Does the lower body-lift procedure remove excess skin from the inner thighs avoiding the long scar on the inner thigh? (photos)

Thank you for your questions regarding whether a 360 circumferential lower body lift will correct the thigh and thus, not require a medial thigh lift. The answer is "no".  A 360 circumferential lower body lift removes excess skin and fat of the abdomen, hips, love handles, and buttocks. The lower body lift does lift the lateral thighs, but does NOT  lift the medial thighs. After studying your pictures, I would suggest a 360 lower body lift and a longitudinal, spiral medial thigh lift.  These procedures can be performed at the same time.  If you just have leg or thigh liposuction, you will be left with hanging skin. The medial thigh lift is what you need and removes excess medial thigh skin and fat.   The 360 lower body lift and the medial thigh lift procedures are performed under general anesthesia.  You would need about 3 weeks to recover.  In regards to leg and ankle liposuction, these procedures can be performed under local anesthesia.  However, ankle liposuction under local is extremely painful  and I would not suggest it.  I believe it is safer and less painful to have ankle liposuction performed under general anesthesia.  I hope I have answered your questions about a lower body lift, medial thigh lift, leg liposuction and calf liposuction.  If you have other questions about the 360 circumferential lower body lift or the medial thigh lift, please call my office.  Sincerely, Dr. Katzen  

The lower body lift addresses and tightens the skin of the abdomen, buttock. and lateral thigh. It does not tighten the inner thigh since the pull and dissection is on the opposite side of the leg. Medial thigh would be a separate procedure and I think you will need the long vertical incision with your excess thigh skin. Liposuction could be done with these procedures depending on the comfort level of your surgeon with combining procedures. Discuss all with a surgeon who does a lot of major body lifts. Good luck.

photograph, you may be a good candidate for lower body lift, but an in-person examination would be helpful.  I would recommend a thigh lift in addition to this to improve your thighs. 
Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of
real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate
their results.  The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are
comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified
board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Thank you for your question, taking into account the photos you sent and what you expressed, I believe in your case a thigh surgery is recommendable, depending on the excess of skin the scar can be vertical and another in the groin area. I would also recommend a thigh liposuction. 
In the area of the ankles and calves I would recommend you to undertake a liposuction with vaser lipo performed at the same time for more comfort and safety of the doctor as well as for the patient, the recommended anesthesia for these procedures is to numb the patient waist down. These surgeries can be performed in a single intervention if the patient's health is fit.
