Is it possible possible to undergo ultherapy and IPL on the same day?

Both AND is always better than Either OR!  Because Ulthera does not work or affect the skin, combination skin treatments may be performed simultaneously.  There may be slightly more swelling but is certainly safe.We routinely stage facial fillers but these may certainly be done together as well.When doing fillers we do Ulthera first.  With IPL you could do either first.All my Best!Dr Bengtson

nasolabial folds are best treated with fillers and you need a formal assessment.  ultherapy would help with skin tightening and lifting, but most people dont need this at 30 years old.  IPL is only really good for mild redness or browns, i find that fraxel or clear+brilliant is much better for younger patients because of the antiaging benefits from the resurfacing.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I would recommend doing these procedures on separate days, even though the Ulthera targets deeper skin tissue, and the Intense Pulsed Light treatment targets sun spots and facial vessels.You mentioned that you have recently lost weight and dislike your naso-labial skin folds. I would suggest that you see  a cosmetic dermatologist in your area to determine which procedures are best for you.

Hello. Yes it's possible to perform both procedures on the same day. Ultherapy is more helpful for the correction of neck skin laxity not nasolabial folds (although I have seen modest improvement int this area in my treated patients). You may need to seek other treatments ( fat grafting or fillers) to improve your NLFs. Good luck. Dr. B

With no photos, aged 30 and saying you are loosing weight, you need a facial aesthetic assessment to see what is the best treatment for you. Nasolabial folds can be because you are loosing mid face volume and a filler rather than a lifting procedure such as Ultherapy or a skin lasr such as IPL may not necessarily be what you best require.Ultherapy is usually recommended as a stand alone treatment with no other laser or fillers for instance on the same day in exactly the same part of the face being treated. Ultherapy is very good at lifting around the eyes, the eyebrows and also the cheeks and jowls.
