Im almost 2 weeks post op and i have noticed a yellow leaking from one of my incisions since day 5. It doesnt smelI and the incisions do not hurt. I was recomended to change my gaze every two days, and that is how much came out. Is it normal? Should i be worried about an infection?

Answer: Drainage from incision sites Best to be checked up by your operating surgeon. It may not necessarily be an infection but you may have a seroma and the fluid is simply leaking out. Remember, an in person exam is always best whenever you have a question or are worried. Good luck!

Answer: Yellow leak two weeks post op Thank you for the question and photos. Based on the pictures, it doesn't look like you have an infection but however drainage at two weeks post op is not common. It would be best ti visit your surgeon and have a full evaluation. Best of luck. Dr. Michael Omidi.
