Hello. I had my first Botox injection on my forehead and nose. It was mainly due to my excess sweating on the face but also for my brows to raise a bit. However, it was done yesterday and I can still move my brows easily etc. When should it work and I should start to be unable to move my brows?

Answer: Botox Botox can take 3-5 days for it to work though we will often wait a week before we do any adjustments. However, if done properly there should be slight movement of the eyebrows without the heaviness.

Answer: Botox Dear wr0953,Botox is generally an on off switch for muscle activity. I get a fair amount of actors/actresses in my practice that are looking to reduce wrinkles but keep some expression. Most of patients see first changes after 4-7 days and the final results after 10-14 days.It depends on the amount of Botox and area where it is injected but the effects usually last for 3-4 months.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am.
