With the degree of skin laxity in the abdomen that I see in the picture, you will be disappointed with results from all nonsurgical treatments. It may not be what you want to hear, but a tummy tuck is the way to go.
Looking at your picture I don't think Ultherapy will do much to tighten your loose abdominal skin. If you are only looking for a non-surgical treatment I think the best option would be a combination of ThermiTight and more superficial laser treatments. Make sure you see an experienced provider for an in-person consultation and evaluation. Best wishes.
Based on your pictures, you are a candidate for a tummy tuck, which can be performed at the same time as hi definition liposuction. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Abdominal laxity is the off label indication for ultherapy. Ultherapy is indicated for face, neck and chest area. Having said that it does work at other areas like abdomen and knee cap areas. The best way is to have a consultation to actually examine the area and then discuss with the individual provider. Good luck.
Viora® radiofrequency treatments and/or superficial Ultherapy® treatments are excellent for tightening loose superficial skin of the lower stomach. See my before and after pictures of Viora® to treat this issue here, on RealSelf.com!
Hi there and thank you for the inquiry. Ultherapy is indicated to treat the face, neck, and decollete and off label treatments can be performed at the discretion of your practitioner. Based on your images you may benefit from laser resurfacing treatments to improve the quality of your skin. C02 is the most invasive treatment where the skin is ablated and new healthier (and tighter) skin cells are produced on the treated area over the course a few months. Erbium is a less invasive option, however multiple treatments may be required to achieve substantially improved results. Erbium is an ideal choice for those who aren't able to commit to the necessary downtime required for C02 treatments. Other options include Fotona lasers, which can produce impressive skin revitalizing results with their advanced dual wavelength technology. A consultation with a board certified cosmetic plastic surgeon would be the first step in receiving a customized treatment program catered to your specific concerns.
This can be effective when combined with other non-surgical treatments, like PDO nova threads. However, best treatment for this is a surgical lip lift. Cost will vary. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question! The 4.5 mm transducer goes deeper and is better for skin lifting. The 1.5 only treats the epidermis and dermis layer and tightens the skin.
The 1.5mm transducer is the most superficial Ultherapy transducer and works best for superficial "crepey" type skin. Ultherapy works best when used in combination with other treatments. I don't think it's a good choice for the abdomen or flanks. There are better treatments out there for those...
Ultherapy is a focal collagen stimulating treatment that has no bearing on the systemic disease like rheumatoid arthritis. Its usually done on the face, neck and chest area. The treatment is very superficial to the joint itself even if it is performed at off label sites. Ultherapy doesn't induce...
Hi, the answer is yes! You absolutely may proceed with other treatments two weeks post Ulthera. This would include just about any facial treatment including facial laser treatments and even dermal fillers. Ulthera has essentially no downtime and we often do other facial treatments...
