Does an Ulthera lip lift really work? Does anyone have any photos?

We use Ultherpay a lot in our practice and are generally very happy with it.  We also tell patients that a small subset of patients (about 1 in 10) do not get much results with Ultherapy.  Additionally, Ultherapy does NOT lift tissues like surgery does, so if that's a patient's expectation, they will be disappointed.  We think of Ultherapy as a maintenance tool for slowing down aging, not as a replacement for surgery.  Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. This can be effective when combined with other non-surgical treatments, like PDO nova threads. However,  best treatment for this is a surgical lip lift. Cost will vary. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
