Ulthera waiting period before other treatment?

Hi AllI had Ulthera treatment 14 days ago. I'm not tender anymore. Can anyone tell me if it's OK to have medical grade facials, laser treatment (IPL) or fillers so soon after ? I'm trying to to reduce skin pigment areas

Hi, the answer is yes! You absolutely may proceed with other treatments two weeks post Ulthera.  This would include just about any facial treatment including facial laser treatments and even dermal fillers.  Ulthera has essentially no downtime and we often do other facial treatments shortly after an Ultherapy procedure.  Combination treatments are often necessary to help patients receive the best possible outcomes.  Hope that helps.

Yes, it's fine to get those treatments now. Keep in mind, a combination approach is needed to improve hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, Cosmelan, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Two weeks post ultherapy is the appropriate amount of time to wait before starting another procedure.  Botox, dermal fillers, IPL, and facials are all great to start which will help enhance the results of your treatment.

Two weeks after Ulthera is fine to proceed with laser treatments for skin pigmentation. Dermal fillers can be placed immediately after and you will need less filler, because the underlying Smas layer is tighter after Ulthera allowing the shape change to look more natural.
