It's difficult to say without the benefit of a formal evaluation. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello, thank you for asking your question. There are multiple non-surgical options to help make your eyes look more open. One option is UPNEEQ; an at-home prescription eyedrop used once daily to help treat drooping eyelids for a more open and awake appearance. You may also consider something to help grow and define your eyelashes, like Latisse, a liquid treatment that comes with a brush applicator and can be applied at home. There are also injections like Juvederm, Restylane, and Botox that have the effect of a liquid eyelift that may help with some of your concerns. A board-certified dermatologist or injection specialist can help you identify your goals and determine an effective plan for you.
Hello and thank you for your question! Every single person is asymmetric throughout their body and this includes the eyes. Asymmetries and eyelid wrinkles can be corrected with blepharoplasty cosmetic eyelid surgery. It is one of the first cosmetic surgeries people usually get. While the average age might be 30 to 50's, some patients get this done in their 20s. It really depends on your unique anatomy as well as what exactly is bothering you. To answer your question, I think you would benefit most from injectables. Your asymmetry is minimal and you still have good skin laxity. from what I can see in your picture. Botox injections as well as laser treatments can also be a tremendous benefit if you are not interested in surgery. Of course, there are also many combinations.I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of eyelid surgery but also offers all the nonsurgical options such as injectables and laser treatments. Go over your concerns with them and make sure above all, you walk out of there with several options and an idea of the pros and cons to each of them as well as realistic expectations.I hope my answer helps and if it does, please take a moment to upvote this answer on the “response”button on the top right. This include early central levator disinsertion, and weakness of the lateral canthal insertion. You also have a mild compensatory eyebrow elevation. Surgery is used to correct these issues. First I strongly advise you to avoid prostaglandin lash growth and eyebrow growth serums. These products (Latisse and over the counter products that contain isopropyl cloprostenate or castor bean oil) harm the upper eyelid by killing fat and causing fibrosis-prematurely ages the tissues. You might consider The Microdroplet Lift®, a botulinum toxin technique that lifts the eyebrow without freezing the forehead.
Hello, thanks for your question! It appears there is some minor asymmetry of the size of your eyes and one brow is raised a bit higher than the other. Botox between the brows (in the Glabella) can help lift the brows. A small amount placed below the brow, can help lift the end of the brow. Placing the right amount can help the eyes and brows appear more symmetrical. There is also a product called Upneeq that can help lift the lids to make the eyes appear bigger. I hope this helps. Thanks!
Dear Imaginative683471, Thanks for sharing your photo. There is mild asymmetry with beautiful color to your eyes. Consider a well experienced, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to evaluate your concerns and if reasonable, use "botox" (one of the injectable muscle relaxers) to raise and arch your brows for a more open eye and possibly help the asymmetry. All the best!
Careful and strategically placed Botox-type products can help you achieve symmetry and open your right eye more.
To rejuvenate the face a combination of Botox and fillers is a great place to begin. Botox can be used to give a conservative lift to the brows as well as soften dynamic lines. Fillers can be used to add volume and enhance facial contours. The best place to begin is a consultation with an experienced injector near you.
Your eyes are very symmetrical. The one eye (left in the photo) has a little bit more scleral show (white portion of the eye showing at the bottom of your iris). Options for that eye, if you choose, would be to tighten the lower lid. A non surgical option may be a new eye drop in the other eye to possibly raise the lid and give the appearance of more symmetry
According to the picture, your left eye is nuchally longer than the one on the right. your right eye looks more rounded. With the fox eyes application under local anesthesia, the slanting of your eyes can be brought closer to each other. Your eyelids seem to be heavy. Excess skin on the upper eyelid can be removed with local anesthesia in the same session. so you have more open eyes
Botox results last up to 3 to 4 months and can be softened with Venus Legacy and Thermage treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry...
