Is this an osteoma-like bulge on my forehead? Advice? (photos)

Hello, I would like to ask about the bulging I Have on my lateral (right) forehead.. Is it osteoma? Its really annoying me whenever I like to take a photo by looking down.. is it possible to remove it since its on my lateral forehead? since there is blood vessels and nerves.. I,m really concerned and it's really making me self-conscious .. please help. (picture attached)

This could be an osteoma or lipoma. If it is soft and movable, it is likely a lipoma. If it firm it may be an osteoma, An x-ray will help determine the answer. Osteomas can be removed easily from a small incision in the forehead hairline.

The most likely cause is a lipoma. It would be unusual for it to be an osteoma. An x-ray could determine if it's bony. And, yes, it's a simple office procedure to remove it.

An examination of you would be needed to try and determine what might be causing the mass on your forehead.  I would say the most likely cause of a mass on the forehead would be a lipoma.  Osteoma is another possibility.  Lipomas and osteomas of the forehead can usually be removed surgically.

It's hard to tell if this is an osteoma from this photo, It would require a full exam. But if the appearance bothers you it can be easily addressed and removed. I do this often and it's a relatively small procedure. Best wishes.

How long have you had it? Was it induced by trauma? You might see a facial plastic surgeon and ask about it if it has been there for some time
