I am 19 years old and I have never been very confident about my breast. I wear a 34B sized bra, & I feel like my breast should be "somewhat" perky, being that my breast size is not very heavy, and I have a small frame. I've never had children, or lost any weight, so I'm not sure why my breast are at the level they are. I'm looking for opinions at the moment, would a breast lift be necessary for me? Or, should I leave them alone?

If more volume is needed, especially in the upper portion of the breasts, we will discuss the possibility of fat grafting or silicone gel implant placement. The type of incision required for this surgery (circumareolar, “lollipop” or “anchor”) and the lifespan of the lift depends on each patient’s condition, breast tissue, genetics, weight and hormonal fluctuations, and desired results.

Answer: Breasts First, you are larger than a B cup. If you are uncertain how to find the correct bra size, go and be measured and fitted in a place like Dillards or Nordstroms. Second, a breast lift would work well for you.

You would benefit from a breast lift if your breasts are elongated shaped with nipples drooping lower than your breast crease and areolas pointing downward. A breast lift without an implant or fat grafting does not add superior breast fullness.The best way to determine if one or both procedures is required to achieve your ultimate goal is to schedule an in-office consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate your anatomy and discuss the options available. Also suggest that you review the before and after photos on the plastic surgeons' web sites to determine the aesthetic quality of the results.

There is no urgency to have this procedure. In general, if you are seeking to achieve a more perkier look, then a breast lift may meet your goals.
